How it works

2. Generate teams — the balancer spreads keepers and evens out positions across the sides.
3. Pick a style per team and it derives a formation; drag players to fine-tune.
4. Share the link — or a WhatsApp-ready text version. Whoever opens it sees the exact setup.

How does it make teams fair?

Balans balances by position, not guesswork: it makes sure goalkeepers are spread across sides, evens out defenders, midfielders and forwards, and flags when one team would be a player short. Re-generate for a fresh split any time, or tap two players to swap them.

Is it free? Yes.

Do you store my players or setups? No. There is no backend. Everything lives in your browser and in the share link’s URL fragment, which browsers never send to a server.

Do I need an account? No account, no sign-up, no app to install (though it installs as a PWA if you want).

Which sports? Built for football / 5-a-side, but the balancing works for any team split.
